What This Letter Usually Does

It can confirm matters such as:

• the parties’ names
• that a NOIM has been lodged
• the intended ceremony details
• the celebrant’s authority

What It Does Not Do

It does not:

• guarantee visa approval
• replace immigration advice
• remove the normal marriage law requirements

3. Confirm the ceremony details
4. Request the supporting celebrant letter if needed
